Jurisdictions across Canada are experiencing longer and more intense precipitation events as a result of climate change. This has highlighted capacity issues in stormwater infrastructure that go above and beyond the need to rehabilitate existing assets. Stormwater, or urban runoff, has become one of the most significant pollution threats in the eyes of some environmental experts.
