The B.C. Ministry of Environment and Parks is modernizing how contaminated site information is submitted and processed, shifting all applications to its new Site Remediation Services Web App (SRS Web App).

Launched in fall 2025, the SRS Web App replaces email submissions with a streamlined digital platform for Site Remediation Program forms and service applications. The Ministry of Environment says the new system is already proving effective, with hundreds of applications and notifications received since rollout.

Designed to simplify and speed up submissions, the app allows users to apply for contaminated site services, upload required documentation, and track the status of their files in real time. The platform also supports better coordination among local governments, environmental consultants and ministry staff.

Through the SRS Web App, users can now complete and submit key documents, including:

  • Site Risk Classification Report

Other Site Remediation Program forms are also available through the system. A Basic or Business BCeID is required to access the app.

The ministry says environmental professionals and other B.C. stakeholders should begin transitioning their workflows to the digital platform to ensure compliance and avoid delays.
