WEFTEC’24 will be held in New Orleans, October 5-9. Thirty-five years ago, in 1989, the lure of WEFTEC in San Francisco resulted in hundreds of Canadian consultants, municipal officials, operators and equipment suppliers converging at event. However, after three highly successful days, the unthinkable happened at 5:04 pm — an earthquake reaching 6.9 on the Richter scale.
