On Tuesday April 18th from 1-2pm, join Partners in Project Green and Environment and Climate Change Canada for a free Green Economy Webinar on the Federal Zero Plastic Waste Agenda.
This presentation will focus on the Government of Canada’s regulatory approach to address plastic waste and pollution. An overview of the Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations will be provided, with an emphasis on the prohibited items, timelines, and guidance for selecting alternatives. The presentation will also provide updates on the development of proposed regulations on recycled content, recyclability and compostability labelling, as well as a federal plastics registry.
