Financing Net-Zero: Financial Institutions

The transition to a Net-Zero economy will require significant investment. Many organizations are finding capital reserves largely depleted from the pandemic, at a time when the urgency of climate action continues to rise. Banks and large financial institutions have a significant role to play in the energy transition and can be an important partner for organizations on their sustainability journey.

Financial Institutions is the third hybrid session of a three-part workshop series on Financing Net-Zero. This final session presents an opportunity for businesses of varying sizes and industries to connect with financial institutions to learn about sustainable investing and green loan programs to move Net-Zero projects forward.

Participants will learn how to:

• Evaluate projects for bank financing
• Start the application process
• See return on their investments

Hybrid Event

This is a hybrid event! The first half will include educational presentations offered in a hybrid format with the option to attend online or in-person. The latter half of the event will include breakout sessions that can only be attended in-person. With limited capacity at TRCA’s Head Office, registration will be first come first serve.
