The AWWAO is a not-for-profit, member oriented association representing over 300 water supply and Wastewater treatment professionals in Ontario’s First Nation communities.
Our continuous goal is to ensure that First Nations water and wastewater treatment plant operators are knowledgeable, efficient and effective in managing the purification of the water and the treatment of wastewater in their communities.
AWWAO has been working with the provincial and federal government in advancing the importance of training and certification of First Nations water and wastewater treatment plant operators.
