Pressure sewers offer an alternative sanitary sewer option because they provide an economic solution to challenging environmental conditions, where gravity sewers are impractical and where septic systems pose risks to the environment. Pressure sewer systems utilize a network of grinder pumps to transport wastewater through small diameter pipes to a collection and treatment system.
